CPT Computer Typing Test SSC FCI Assistant Grade 3 2013 Date Pattern Proficiency Exam

Staff selection commission yesterday 5 September 2013; declared the written exam results of SSC Food Corporation Assistant Grade 3 Recruitment 2013. This is the final results of AG III Fci Vacancy. Now Successful candidates will be call foe further steps of recruitment process. Now all candidates who have been declared qualified in paper 1 and paper 2 they will call for Computer Proficiency Test CPT or Computer Typing Test. SSC conducted a common written examination for the recruitment of assistant Grade 3 General , Depot, Technical and account cadres in FCI 2013. Paper 2 and paper 3 exams was held on 7 April 2013 at various exam centers all over India. Total 61758 candidates in paper 2 and 33478 candidates in paper 3 participated in the FCi AG 3 examination.
Total 16398 candidates now called for Computer Proficiency Test CPT for Post Code A , Code B and Code D,
Total 12327 candidates of various category now called for post Code C.
SSC CPT Exam date for FCI assistant Grade 3 AG 3 yet not announced but its expected that Computer proficiency Test will be held in the 1st week of October 2013. Detailed Time schedule / CPT date will be placed on the official SSC Region office and website. so now keep on checking your Concerning Regional SSC website for Date of CPT. Candidates are required to download a Admit card which will be issued by SSC. If you don’t received your CPT admit card / call letter then immediately contact to SSC regional office.
This time minimum qualifying marks for general candidates was 206.25 aggregately of paper 1 and paper 3.

CPT Pattern Computer Typing Details for FCI assistant Grade 3 AG 3 Computer Proficiency Test pattern
For general Depot , account and technical cadre a computer proficiency test CPT will be held . CPT will be qualifying nature. A word processing test and excel test will be be also held for candidates short listed on the basis of paper and paper 2 / paper 3 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in word process may be prescribed by staff selection commission. 
Only those candidates who will declared qualified din CPT / skill test they will be eligible to be consider for final selection. But final selection will be based on paper 1 and paper 2/ paper 3 marks. Allocation of candidates to different zones will be done on the basis of merit cum option of zone and thereafter, to different posts within the zone. Seniority for all purpose will be maintained within the zone.

    i hv cleared fci mains, bt i hv only 3 marks more than the cuttoff. obc cutoff was 192.5 & my total no.is 105.50+89.75
    =195.25.
    i m a btech student,i hv no problem in cpt.if more students will qualify in cpt then merit list will prepare by marks only.or they will calculate by accuracy of cpt.

      they will calculate the accuracy of cpt,(will be given scores for that as well..eg 30 marks)it will be added to tier 1 and tier 2 /3 to make a final list

      this is to bring to your notice that even i m waiting for the dates and center details. the MP region and NR region are not yet allotted the dates. lets hope for the best to get them sooner.

    CPT - Computer Proficiency Test.
    CPT will be of two modules. 15 min. for each module.

    In Module 1 - 400 words (2000 key depressions) in 15 min. A passage or paragraph will come. We have to copy that same to same detto.

    In Module 2 - Questions will come to represent on Excel Spreadsheet.

      In my paper it was just to make simple table and had to find out mean and sum of the given data. In typing it was just three paragraphs in 14 fonts.

    It is very simple. In excel you will have to make just a simple chart.
    and apply the formula of mean, sum, multiplications.
    Just have great accuracy in typing test, in typing it is not necessary to hit 2000key depression just hit around 1700 key depression but you must have very high accuracy.

      Paragraph likhne ke liye kitna time dete hai. Kya 2000 depression ke liye 15 min dete hai ya zyada time milta hai.

    i appeared for fci cpt in chennai. i cleared ms word with zero mistakes. but in ms excel i did two mistakes i.e. 1. spread sheet came in two pages and 2. spread sheet should be in algerian font - this i could not do. what are my chances ? i am an sc candidate.

      this is CLERICAL or SUPERVISOR level job,my friend is working and she is getting 14000 per month, salary+TA+DA may vary depending on your location.

    Yesterday I appeared for the CPT in eastern region. My typing test was fine, as i had completed the full given passage 1.5 minutes before the allotted time. But our excel spread sheet was a bit confusing we were given to balance a stock sale after a month in rs. when the data were given in units. and we were told to keep the sheet in font size 12 with Aerial style. with the main Head line of the chart in 14 font size Bold and underlined. I managed to keep the whole chart in font 12 Aerial and kept the Headline in 14 font size Bold and underlined then I typed the items and then typed the subheadings like Items, 1st stock of month in units, sold items after the month in units, balance of sale in rs etc. now here I got stuck. as the sub headings were long they crossed the cell to the next cell but till then i did not know that i needed to click alt+ enter to keep the text inside the mentioned cell boundary. so i kept on trying. the whole chart was just half done and i couldn't calculate the data given. the time ran out and i couldn't finish the calculation. I'm so much depressed knew evry basic formula in excel just didn't know that particular thing. and the whole thing remained undone. I was so much satisfied with the typing test but the spread sheet test made me ashamed. I tried so hard. my only hope is that the typing test was good and the spread sheet was not blank. i had kept the acurate font size , style and merged cells where needed kept the header at 14 font and got it underlined in Bold as well. these are my last hopes. friends and respected sir/madam would you please spare me sometime to answer me if i still have a narrow chance of qualifying the test. The job means a lot to me i only survive by my father (a retired person at his 60s.) Do I still have some chance??? i applied for the technical post "c" as i am a student of zoology from calcutta university and i scored 177 in the technical cadre (100+77). the cutoff in my cadre was 153. please help.

      yes, you get step marking alloted for heading and font change. your porble can be solved in exam hall by using cell allignement then wrap text.the whole content then will come in single cell.

    same happened to me buddy,jitne log CPT clear ker lenge unke chances jyada honge,hamara CPT pehle ho chuka hai,During our CPT we have every thing new & nobody to tell us what comes in CPT & what happenes in CPT, it is just information that was provided by SSC in our admit card. we are making our chances less if we tell every thing.so plz make CPT equal for every body,i m not being selfish,as this job is equally necessary for every body who are selected for CPT.

    I had my CPT on 19th oct, I left 2 lines in the last para of the passage with 30-40 errors in characters, and excel my print out came in two pages of course i did all formulas correct and the font is also right but i am totally confused pls suggest me wat are my chances i am SC candidate

      Don't worry dear, Last year there was 25% mistakes allowed it means 500 characters. So cool down it is not going to affect your selection unless you have scored well in the written examination.

    Hi friends I have appeared in CPT in Chennai on 22nd this month. There were 29 lines in typing test. I have left 2 lines.If practice is there then time is sufficient for typing.Try to be cool while doing typing. Coming to Excel we were given data of a shop with price of some goods, stock on 1st of the month, total sale of stock in the month.We had to calculate the remaining stock, individual sale of particular products and the total sum of sale in Rupees. Although it took nearly 2 minutes for using formula, it took more time to make the table with prescribed requirements. We had to use different font sizes, to type text of same column in several lines, we had to merge and centre, we had to give header etc. Some batches were given very easy paper and for some, it was little bit tougher. I was unable to give print out in one paper.It took two papers for print out. Check print preview before giving print out. We were not given enough time for reading instructions. Due to which I was not able to read about header. Any way, don't be panic, manage time well and practice reduces time a lot. Thank you very much and this site helped me in knowing about CPT model paper and I am very thankful for that.All The Best for the friends who are going to appear in CPT.

    sir i typed all paragraphs in cpt test within given time but forgot to give first line spacing for every paragraph wil they treat it as a mistake or it is a negligible thing?and two mistakes came out of all paragraghs that i typed. so what are my chances to qualify in cpt test?

Mpr me to abhi cpt ki date hi dclr nahi hui hai. 10 nov ke ssc 10+2 exam ke baad hi date announce hogi and announcement ke kuch din baad hi cpt start honge jo bahut dino tak chalenge kyoki kai regions me to oct se start hokar dec tak chal rahe hai.
