Official Advertisement for 10+2 level recruitment of this year has been published in employment news / rozgar samchar of 20 July 2013. Its also available for download at the official website of SSC. Commission will hold a all India level common written examination for the recruitment of DEO and LDC posts. Written Exam will be objective type of nature.

Selection procedure: selection for the posts of Data Entry operator posts will be based on the written examination and followed by data entry operator Skill test /LDC typing Test.

Application form Fee: Rs 100 and
There is no application form fee for Female, SC / ST / PWD / ex service man
Candidates have an option to deposit application form fee via CRD tickets. You can also fill application form fee via online payment method like online banking / ATM / Debit card / Credit Card ETC.

Salary and Appointment Place
SSC Group C posts of Data Entry Operator DEO will be appointed in Pay Band-1, Grade Pay s 2400 & 1900 and Lower Division Clerk in Pay Band-1, Grade Pay s 1900 in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices.

Eligibility criteria: minimum age limits 18 year and maximum age 27 year as on 1 august 2013

Skill Test for LDC posts : Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer
Typing Test for LDC : 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. corresponds to 10500 key depressions per hour/9000 key depressions per hour respectively.

Preference for Posts: D: Data Entry Operator in Grade Pay of f 2400/-
E: Data Entry Operator in Grade Pay less than f 2400/-
L: Lower Division Clerk in Grade Pay of f 1900/-
