Selection procedure for Group D recruitment
Selection for Group D posts will be based on the written exam followed by Physical Efficiency Test PET. All those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria they will be called for the written examination. RRC will inform you about exam date and exam center via Admit card / call Letter / hall ticket of Group D / Group 4 Exam.
Group D Exam Question paper Pattern and Structure RRC Railway Exam 2013
Written exam will comprise objective type MCQ question. Question paper stander will be class 10 levels.
Question of group D will be related to following Subjects: General Knowledge, Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning
Question paper medium / language of Paper will be: Hindi, English, Punjabi & Urdu only.
Minus marking will be applicable in this examination. For each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
All those candidates who will declared qualified in written exam they will be called for Physical efficiency Test PET test.
There is no specific syllabus published by RRC for Group D posts. you can use NCERT class 12 level book for better preparation but stander of question paper will be High school level. .
PET Test Details and pattern
Male candidates : Should be able to run for a distance of 1500 meters in six minutes in one chance.
Female candidates : Should be able to run for a distance of 400 meters in three minutes in
one chance.
