UP Police Constable Recruitment 2013

Uttar pradesh Police Recruitment and promotion board, Lucknow Up published the notification for the recruitment of Police constable (police Arakshi / Sipahi ). Official Advertisement no PRPB:1-1/ 2013 was published 14 may 2013. This notification was released for filling the posts of Police constable and constable state armed constabulary posts via direct recruitment Exam and physical Test.

These constables will be appointed on Salary pay band 5200-20200 and grade pay 200.
Approximately there are total 20,200 posts in this vacancy.
Application form invited online and offline for filling posts of constable.

Vacancy Details as are follows
General: 10000 posts, OBC candidates 5400 , SC 4200, ST 400 posts
Total: 20000
There are 2 % reservation for freed fighter, 5% for Ex service man, 5% for home guard armed 20 % reservation will be given to female in horizontal category .
Its expectation that posts will be increased.

Application Form Fee : there are only 200 rs application form fee for Constable posts .
There is no application form fee for those candidates who filled application form in previous constable vacancy.

Eligibility criteria: education Qualification for Up police constable posts is just Intermediate (class 12 pass )
But appearing candidates can not fill application form .

Age limit: minimum 18 year and maximum 22 year as on 1 July 2013 for male candidates , and minimum age for female candidates is 18 year and maximum age 25 year as on 1 July 2013.

Physical Stander as are follows

General / OBC and SC candidate : height Male 168 cm, female 152 CM
ST candidates : height 160 cm, Female 147

Recruitment Process: all those candidates who will found eligible on the basis of application form they will issued a admit card for participating in written examination. Written examination will be objective type of nature. Pre written exam question paper will carry 300 marks. There will be only one question paper in this examination. Question will be related form general knowledge, current affairs, Reasoning, Arithmetical ability etc. question paper stander will be intermediate level .

Question paper Pattern / Syllabus
General knowledge and Current Event: 150
Reasoning : 75 marks
Arithmetical ability : 75
Total ; 300 marks

Qualifying cutoff marks / passing marks in the written examination will be 35% , so each candidates are required to score minimum cutoff marks. approximately 10 times from the proposed posts, candidates will be declared qualified in the written examination , and they will call for next recruitment process and Physical efficiency test .

Physical Efficiency test or PET Test : all those candidates who will declared qualified in written examination they will call for PET test. PET exam will carry total 100 marks. PET pattern as are follows
4.8 km Race within for 30 minutes for male candidates
2.4 km Race with 18 minutes for female candidates

Marking Scheme in PET will be as are follows
Within 20 minutes : 100 marks
within to 20 to 25 Minutes 80 marks, 25 to 30 Minutes 60 marks

Marking Scheme in RACE for Female constable
100 marks till 14 Minutes
80 marks for 14 minutes for 16 minutes
60 marks for 16 minutes to 18 minutes

After PET test a mains written examination will be held for those candidates who will declared qualified in Preliminary written examination , and PET examination.
Mains Written exam Pattern;
General knowledge ; 100 marks
Mental ability; 75 marks
Reasoning : 75
Bodh Gamyata : 50 marks
Total : 300 marks

Qualifying cutoff marks is 355.

Admit card : Admit card for pre , Main ,medical, PST , PET examination of Up Police constable examination will be hosted before the 10 days of the examination. candidates can download there admit card from the official website of UPP BPH  http://uppbpb.gov.in
