Directorate general border security force Communication and IT directorate of communication Wing published the advertisement cum notification for Direct recruitment for the posts of ASI RM , HC RO and HC fitter in BSF. Application form are invited from male and female Indian citizen who hold the eligibility criteria for Assistant sub inspector and head constable posts in BSF. ASI RM: UR 53 , OBC 29 ,SC 13 and ST 8 Total 103 posts
HC RO : Un reserved 350 posts , OBC 183 posts, SC 102 posts, ST 50 posts Total : 685 posts
HC fitter : UR General 13 posts, OBC 6 posts, SC 3 posts, ST 1 posts : Total 23 posts
Selection process and procedure Important Date: recruitment process will be completed in two successive phase. First of a common written exam will be held on 24 November 2013. Written exam results will be declared on the 1st week of December at the official website of BSF which is www.bsf.nic.in and those candidates who will declared qualified in 1st phase they will call for 2nd phase.
2nd phase will comprise PST / PET and document dictation test, interview and Medical fitness test. 2nd phase of BSF recruitment will be held on 23 December 2013
Eligibility criteria as are follows:
Education Qualification for ASI RM ; Metrics with 3 year diploma in radio and TV technology or electronics ,or telecommunication or CS or Electrical or Mechanical or Domestic application or 10+2 or intermediate with 50% marks with PCM
HC RO : matriculation and two year industrial training
HC fitter matriculation with 2 year industrial training
Age Limit: 18 to 25 year for general 18 to 28 year for OBC and 18 to 30 year for SC And ST .
Physical stander : height m168 /f 157 , Chest 80 /e 85 ,
Written Exam pattern syllabus :
Physics 60 marks, math 60 marks, chemistry 30 marks, English and GK 50 marks
Question Type; MCQ objective type
Minimum passing marks cutoff marks : General obc 38% and SC ST 33%.
How to Apply : if you hold the all eligibility criteria then you can fill application form in prescribed application form format which is publish with notification .
Application form fee is : rs 50 for general and OBC candidates , you can pay fee in form of Crossed bank DD or Postal order
