CBSE CTET 2014 Exam Date Notification Application Form

Central board of Secondary education every year holds Central teacher eligibility Test CTET exam for class 1 to class 5 teacher and class 6 to class 8 teacher of all over India. CTET Certificate now applicable in all teacher recruitment of class 1 to 8 teaching in all states of India. Without qualifying CTET or any other state Tet now no teacher are eligible for appointment of teaching posts. So every time more then 7 lakh teachers are participating in CTET examination. CTET every year conducted By CBSE twice in the year. First CTET usually conducted by CBSE in the month of January and 2nd CTET conducted by in the month of July. CTET July 2013 results have been announce for both level / both Question paper.

  • Schools, etc.
  • Schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Now CBSE start preparation or Upcoming CTET January 2014. Very soon CBSE will publish official notification for upcoming CTET Jan 2014. Last year Notification was published on 5 November 2013 and exam was held on 29 January 2013.

Important Tentative dates of CTET Jan 2014

CTET January 2014 Notification / advertisement will be publish: 1st week of November
Last date of online application form Submission: last week of November
Last date of receipt of application in CBSE : end of November for online and offline both mode
CTET Tentative Exam date of Jan 2014:
Primary Level Paper 1: last Sunday of January 2014 morning shift  
Junior Level upper primary teacher: Paper 2 : last Sunday of January 2014 noon shift
Issue of the admit card: 1st week of January 2014

Eligibility criteria for Primary State Class I to class V

Senior secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing 2 year diploma in elementary education
Or senior secondary with B.el.ed

Education qualification for Junior Level class 6 to class8
Graduation with 2 year Diploma in elementary education / BTC
Or Graduation with B.ed / B.el.E.d / B.ed special education

Pattern for the examination

CTET exam will conations objective type MCQs . there will be no negative marking in the examination . there will be 2 seprate question paper and each paper will conations 150 question which will carry 150 marks for each paper. Total 150 minute will be given for each question paper .
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to
VIII) Will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Qualifying marks / passing marks is 60% or 90 correct questions out of 150 question.

How to apply: if you hold the all eligibility criteria than you can fill application form online at the official website CTET which is www.ctet.nic.in notification will be also published at CBSE official website which is www.cbse.nic.in

Application form fee for General / OBC candidates
:rs 500 and for SC/ST/ PWD candidates rs 250
