We bright the latest news for you for understanding about the Cutoff marks and stander score for RRB recruitment.  IBPS conducting the written examination in various session and different different date via using different question paper for each session. Then it’s very difficult that how IBPS will maintain the equality during the evaluating the answer and score between two different question for the same exam. Mostly candidates saying that 1st day exam was difficult another one saying that 2nd day was difficult for that purpose IBPS developed a formulae for balancing the score and cutoff marks
Some of the important fact you must know about the IBPS exam as are follows

No of questions answered acceptably by a applicant in each exam
measured for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying negative marks  for wrong answers.
The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made alike to take care of the
minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different
sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores*.
The Equated Scores so obtained are standardized** to arrive at Final Standard Score with
a minimum ‘0’ and maximum ‘40’ by following Linear Transformation Method.

* Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the
distribution of scores of all the forms.
** The equated scores in each test are scaled to Standardized Scores with Mean 20 and Standard
Deviation 4
Above method will be applicable in each exam .

Process for Arriving at Total Weighted Standard Score in the Common Written
Examination
Total Weighted Standard Score = Standard Scores obtained in (Reasoning _1.25 + Numerical
Ability _1.25 + General Awareness _1.00 + English Language/ Hindi Language _1.00 +
Computer Knowledge _ 0.50)

Cut-offs on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ STPWD/SC-EXS/ ST-EXS 89 marks
OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GENPWD/OBC-EXS/ GEN-EXS 95
