NTPC published the notification Advertisement No NR/Lucknow: 01/2013 for the recruitment of Diploma Trainee of various stream. Separate notification has been published by various NTPC head quarter. Currently advertisement for Lucknow, Mumbai, Raipur, Hyderabad, Noida, Patna, Bhubaneswar, published for NTPC diploma vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria: Age limit: Upper Age limit is 27 year as on 1 September 2013 .
Education Qualification:
Full time regular diploma in electrical / electrical and electronics engineering / mechanical engineering / Civil engineering / Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 70% marks.
Selection process and Procedure: selection for the posts of NTPC diploma Trainee will be based on written examination. Written test will be objective of nature and total 2 hours will be given for attempting the question paper. After that those candidates who will declared qualified in written exam they will call for an interview test.
Written Exam dates have been announced by NTPC and it will be held on 17 November 2013. Question will be held in Hindi and English language. Written exam will comprise two parts. Part 1 will be related to general knowledge test and total 70 questions will be asked of MCQ types. Part 2 will be related to Aptitude test there will be 50 questions from aptitude test. Question will be related to English, Quantitative aptitude, and reasoning subjects. Minus marking is applicable. For each wrong answer ¼ marks will be deducted.
