Pay Scale and salary : Pay band 2 PSC rs 9300-34800 , grade pay rs 4200, other benefit like HRA, DA by UPPCl.

Age Limit : 18 to 35 year on 1 January 2013 .
Selection procedure: will be base on the written exam which will be held online. After CBT test and interview will be held. Computer based test will be held at Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, barely, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and meerut district,
Question paper pattern for Online CBT examination: maximum marks 200 , total question 200
150 questions will be related to diploma level engineer
20 question from general knowledge / general awareness
20 question from reasoning 10 question form general Hindi
Minus marking will be applicable for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Cutoff marks / passing marks / qualifying marks : 33% marks for general / OBC , 28% for SC , st ‘
Interview test will carry total 35 marks
