Application form invited online for Sub Inspector vacancy in Punjab. Online application form submission has been started from 15 November and last date of Female SI recruitment is 2 December 2013 . Salary : Pay Band of Rs. 10300-34800/- + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- (as per new pay scales of Punjab Govt).
Eligibility criteria : education qualification : Graduation degree
Age limit : minimum 18 year and maximum 25 year
Selection procedure and procedure:
Physical Measurement : Minimum height 5 feet 3 inch
PET Test Physical efficiency test : 800 Meter Run to be completed in minimum 4 minutes and 30 seconds (Only one chance).
Long Jump : 3.00 Meter minimum (Three chances)
High Jump : 0.95 Meter minimum (Three chances)
Written Exam : of 100 marks /
Topic Syllabus pattern of the written exam: general awareness on current national and international issues (terrorism/naxalism in Indian sub-continent). Including knowledge about India, and Punjab in particular, general science, information technology and its applications, numerical aptitude, test of reasoning & comprehension etc
Cutoff marks: 45% for qualifying in the written exam
Interview test ; 15 marks
